A Short history of the building
The building that is now the Community Centre was originally a school. It was built around 1845 with public money so was called "Prestwick Public School". It was used in this role until 1976 when it was changed to a community centre for the use of the people within the Prestwick area.

Prestwick Community Association
The Association are a group of people who came together to manage the Community Centre for the benefit of the people
and groups in South Ayrshire. The Committee is made up of volunteers selected at their AGM each year.
